Ryan Wilson

Ryan has achieved a 2:1 BMus in Popular Music performance from BIMM London, gaining exceptional knowledge in a variety of musical styles including, Rock, Funk, Metal, Country and Blues.

Since graduating, Ryan has used this knowledge as a writer and session musician for several artists, ranging from latin inspired rock (Dani Hart) to contemporary indie (Oli Barton & The Movement). Having performed in venues around the UK and London, such as the O2 Kentish Town, O2 Academy Islington, The Jacaranda (Liverpool) as well as live over BBC Radio: The South’s BBC Introducing segment and the Main Stage at Leestock Festival. Ryan is an experienced and energetic performer.

Over the past 5 years, Ryan has also developed a passion for teaching both electric and acoustic guitar to students of all ages, having taught privately and as a peripatetic guitar tutor for various schools in the South and North London areas. Ryan prides himself on sharing his knowledge, developing his students personal confidence, passion and creative abilities in a relaxed and welcoming environment, using techniques and exercises that he has honed throughout his career.
