Lizzie Reynolds
Lizzie Reynolds studied a two-year RSL Extended Diploma in Music Performance (Vocals) at HCM Music School from 2014 to 2016, and is now part-way through a BA (Hons) Creative Musicianship (Vocals) course with our education partner, ICMP London.
We spoke with Lizzie about her life at HCM, how it prepared her for her next steps towards a music career, and what she’s up to now.
How did HCM help you achieve your musical goals?
I had a great two years at HCM and learnt so much – it’s a great facility, with great teachers, and is a really supportive and encouraging place to study! HCM helped me achieve my musical goals by allowing me to be creative and to be myself. My time with the HCM tutors taught me to be inspired by others around me. They pushed me every day to make me the best I could be. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am now musically and as a person. I owe them a huge amount of credit and I’m very thankful for all the hard work and dedication they put into the students at HCM!
What exciting projects do you have coming up?
I played at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park again last Christmas. I’m in a duo with my partner Sam (also at ICMP London) and we play at parties and weddings. We also have some exciting gig opportunities with ICMP, including a show at the Hard Rock Cafe in London.
