Rosie Canham

Rosie began learning piano at the age of nine, progressing through classical training and achieving merits and distinctions across the grades. In addition to the piano, she enjoys playing a variety of recorders, including sopranino, descant, treble, and tenor. While she has a particular fondness for composers like Einaudi and Debussy, she also loves exploring contemporary music.
As a mother of six with a 20-year career working with early years and school-age children, as well as experience in swim teaching, Rosie has a deep understanding of how children learn in different ways. She draws on this wealth of experience to tailor her teaching approach, helping each student reach their full potential in a way that suits their individual learning style.
For over 15 years, Rosie has been teaching piano privately, guiding both children and adults toward their musical goals—whether it’s mastering a favorite song or earning a grade certificate. Above all, she believes music should be an enjoyable and enriching experience, and her lessons are designed to be fun, creative, and inspiring.
