George Petrie
George is a pianist, violinist, and experienced music educator with a strong background in both classical and contemporary music. He has been teaching privately for several years, helping students develop their technical skills and musical confidence while guiding them through ABRSM, Trinity, and Rock School syllabuses with a 100% pass rate.
As a versatile musician, George has extensive experience performing as a session pianist and touring musician, working with a range of artists across different genres. He is also a composer and recording artist, bringing a creative and well-rounded approach to his teaching. In addition to piano, he has a background in violin and orchestral performance, which informs his broad understanding of musicianship and ensemble playing.
George is passionate about making music education engaging and accessible, tailoring his lessons to suit each student’s needs and inspiring a lifelong love of music.’
